Isabel Berning

Isabel Berning was awarded a $2,500 scholarship through the Austin Smith Foundation.

Isabel attended John F. Kennedy High School and had been active in her school and the community through various extracurriculars and volunteer efforts.

She was a student-athlete participating in volleyball,  softball, swim team and track & field. She participated in FFA, National Honor Society and she was Vice President of her class. Isabel volunteers for various organization’s and various community events.

Isabel will be attending Clackamas Community College, running cross country and throwing Javelin. Isabel will be working towards a degree in nursing.

The Austin Smith Foundation is honored to present Isabel with this scholarship to further her pursuit of higher education and give back to her community.

Macie Wilson

Macie Wilson was awarded a $2,500 scholarship through the Austin Smith Foundation.

Macie attended Dayton High School and had been active in her school and the community through various extracurriculars and volunteer efforts.

She was a student-athlete participating in basketball and softball. She was active in FFA, National Honor Society and FBLA. Macie has been described as always kind, works hard and gives her best. 

Macie will be attending Chemeketa Community College and will be pursuing a degree in nursing with a focus on labor and delivery or the emergency department. Macie says this decision to pursue nursing stems from her desire to help people. 

The Austin Smith Foundation is honored to present Macie with this scholarship to further her pursuit of higher education and give back to her community.

Amayrani Gonzalez-Mejia

Amayrani Gonzalez-Meija was awarded a $2,500 scholarship through the Austin Smith Foundation.

Amayrani attended St. Paul High School and had been active in her school and the community through various extracurriculars and volunteer efforts.

She was a student-athlete participating in several athletic organizations. She participated in FFA and volunteers for various organization’s and community events. Amayrani is actively involved in the St. Paul Rodeo and St. Paul Booster Club. 

Amayrani will be attending Chemeketa Community College and will be pursuing a degree in Fire Suppressions. Amayrani plans to pursue a career as a Firefighter/Paramedic. 

Amayrani strives to make a meaningful and positive impact impact on her friends, family and community members lives.

Justice Chamberlin

Justice Chamberlin was awarded a $2,500 scholarship through the Austin Smith Foundation.

 Justice attended Newberg High School and had been active in her school and the community through various extracurriculars and volunteer efforts.

She is an athlete participating in Rugby and Taekwondo.  She participated in ScoutsBSA, Rotary and Interact clubs. Justice volunteers for various organization’s and various community events.

Justice will be attending Gonzaga University. Inspired by her father’s career as a paramedic, Justice grew up understanding the importance of helping others and making a positive impact on the world. Justice can’t wait to do this by pursuing a degree in Nursing.
